BLITZKRIEG Confirmed For Italy's PLAY IT LOUD FESTIVAL

NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) legends BLITZKRIEG have been confirmed for the Play It Loud Festival, set to take place February 17, 2007 in Milan, Italy. Headlining the event will be RAVEN.

BLITZKRIEG supported German metal queen DORO on her U.K. dates in early November.

BLITZKRIEG's most recent album, "Sins and Greed", was released in July 2005 via Metal Nation Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Absolute Power" was recorded at Trinity Heights Studios in Newcastle Upon Tyne (U.K.) and features bass player Paul Brewis, who replaced Andy Galloway in early 2004. In addition, the CD marks Ken Johnson's first studio album following his performance on "Absolutely Live".
